How to register and use Hello Money

  • How to register (new user)

    1. Go to the Branch or contact Call Center

    2. Temporary mobile banking PIN will be sent to your device via SMS

  • How to change pin

    1. Dial *443#

    2. Enter temporary mobile banking PIN 

    3. Enter new PIN

    4. Re-enter new PIN

    5. Confirmation of successful PIN change.

How to add a beneficiary

  • Airtime top up

    1. Dial *443#
    2. Enter your PIN
    3. Select Airtime Top up (1)
    4. Select the operator
    5. Select To Other Number
    6. Select New beneficiary (3)
    7. Select the operator (check with receiver if unsure)
    8. Enter the mobile number
    9. Enter the beneficiary nick name (max 15 characters)
    10. Press 1 to confirm details
    11. You will see a confirmation screen

     

  • Electricity

    1. Dial *443#
    2. Enter your PIN
    3. Select Airtime Top up (1)
    4. Select the operator
    5. Select To Other Number
    6. Select New beneficiary (3)
    7. Select the operator (check with receiver if unsure)
    8. Enter the mobile number
    9. Enter the beneficiary nick name (max 15 characters)
    10. Press 1 to confirm details
    11. You will see a confirmation screen

  • Fund transfer to an Absa account

    1. Dial *443#
    2. Enter your PIN
    3. Select Funds transfer (5)
    4. Select register beneficiary (4)
    5. Select Absa A/C
    6. Enter beneficiary account number
    7. Enter beneficiary nick name
    8. Press 1 to confirm
    9. You will see a confirmation screen

How to buy electricity and top up airtime

  • How to buy electricity

    1. Visit www.absa.co.mz
    2. Select Internet Banking
    3. Enter your credentials (Username and Password)
    4. Select “Pay my Utility Bills/Recharges” on the right of the screen
    5. Select “New payee”
    6. Select electricity under biller type and then credelec
    7. Add credelec number and click next
    8. Enter amount and click next
    9. Review and confirm transaction details
    10. Enter OTP received and click next
    11. You will see a confirmation screen showing that your transaction was successful

  • How to top up airtime

    1. Dial *443# and enter your PIN

    2. Enter Air Time (1)

    3. Select network operator (Vodacom/ Movitel/ TMcel)

    4. Select the number that you wish to to up (To own number or to other number).

    5. Enter amount you wish to top up

    6. Select the account you would like to debit

    7. Confirm transaction

How to transfer funds

  • How to do a fund transfer (Absa to Absa)

    1. Dial *443# and insert your PIN

    2. Select option 6: Funds transfer

    3. Select option 2: To other Absa account

    4. Select registered (If beneficiary is registered)

    5. Select the beneficiary

    6. Enter amount to be transferred 

    7. Select account to transfer from

    8. Press 1 to confirm the transaction

    9. You see a confirmation screen and receive an SMS

  • How to transfer to mobile wallet

    1. Dial *443#
    2. Enter your PIN
    3. Select M-wallet (3)
    4. Select the mobile wallet operator for sending
    money (1. Emola, 2. Mpesa)
    5. Select the wallet to transfer money to (to own number or to other number
    6. If its for “other number” select the option “one-off”
    7. Enter the wallet number
    8. Enter the amount
    9. Select the account to be debit
    10. Press 1 to confirm.

    1. Dial * 443 #
    2. Enter your PIN
    3. Select Payment for services (4)
    4. Select Make a one-time payment (2)
    5. Select one of the payments displayed
    6. Enter the card number
    7. Enter the account amount
    8. Choose the account to be debited
    9. Press 1 to confirm.

    2. Select option 4:  Service Payment

    3. Select option 2: Payments

    4. Select option 1: Absa Card

    5. Enter your card number

    6. Enter bill amount
