  • How to register (new user)

    Personal banking
    1. Visit www.absa.co.mz
    2. Select Internet Banking
    3. Click register
    4. Enter customer information and accept the terms and conditions
    5. You receive an OTP via SMS 
    6. Enter OTP and click next
    7. Create username and password on the password confirmation screen
    8. Click next
    9. You will see a confirmation screen 
    10. Always logout after using your online account
    Business banking
    1. Visit www.absa.co.mz
    2. Select Internet Banking
    3. Click register
    4. Choose whether you are a "Retail Banking or Business Banking" Customer
    5. Enter customer information and accept the terms and conditions
    6. You receive an OTP via SMS 
    7. Enter OTP and click next
    8. Create username and password on the password confirmation screen
    9. Click next
    10. You will see a confirmation screen
    11. Always logout after using your online account

  • How to buy electricity

    1. Visit www.absa.co.mz
    2. Select Internet Banking
    3. Enter your credentials (Username and Password)
    4. Select 'Pay my Utility Bills/Recharges' tab
    5. Select Beneficiary, "Credelec biller", click next and enter amount (for registered beneficiary)
    6. Enter OTP received via SMS and click next

  • How to do a fund transfer (Absa to Absa)

    1. Visit www.absa.co.mz
    2. Select Internet Banking
    3. Enter your credentials (username and password)
    4. Select 'transfer and payment' tab
    5. Select account you want to transfer funds from and payee
    6. Enter OTP received via SMS and click next
    7. For a registered payee, enter amount, payment description and click next (For a new payee, enter customer details and follow the next steps)
    8. Review and confirm transaction details
    9. You will see a confirmation screen

  • How to do bank to wallet transfers

    1. Visit www.absa.co.mz
    2. Select Internet Banking
    3. Enter your credentials (Username and password)
    4. Select "Transfer & Payment" Mobile Wallet Service (Emola Movitel/ Mpesa)
    5. Select a payee
    6. Select/enter mobile number
    7. Enter amount
    8. Enter OTP received via SMS and click next
    9. Add to payee list if you wish
    10.  Confirm details and click next
    11. If transfer is made to an exisiting payee, transaction will be successful.
    12.  If transfer is made to a new payee, an OTP will be sent to you to validate and then the transaction will be successful.

  • How to pay your Absa Credit Card

    1. Visit www.absa.co.mz
    2. Select Internet Banking
    3. Enter your credentials (Username and password)
    4. Click on the option “Pay Services/Recharges
    5. Select “New Beneficiary”
    6. In the Entity option, select “Credit Card Payment”
    7. In the Entity to Pay option, select “Absa Card”
    8. Click on the Next button
    9. Enter the amount you want to pay
    10. Insert the security code you will receive via SMS (OTP)
    11. Click on the “send” option.

  • How to download proof of payment

    1. Access the website www.absa.co.mz
    2. Select the Internet Banking option
    3. Enter your credentials (Username and password)
    4. Select “transfer and payment” tab
    5. Select “View payments history”
    6. Select the transaction type and click “search”
    7. Select the payment and click “generate”.

     

  • How to request for a loan Top-up

    1. Access the website www.absa.co.mz
    2. Select “Account & Transactions” tab
    3. Click on “Top-Up”
    4. Insert the required amount, your monthly income, email address and click next
    5. Review the details and accept the Terms and Conditions
    6. Click next
    7. Confirmation message and the application number
    8. An email will be sent to the address provided to share some supporting documents for the top up request.
